Young bear scared three thousand soldiers of the paramilitary brigade “Kainuu”, which is the largest in the armed forces of Finland training center of land forces.
According to the newspaper “Iltalehti”, the bear snuck into the training ground, which hosted military exercises. He freely moved among the tents, soldiers have feasted on the food and broke some things in the Finnish military.
Finnish soldiers was seriously scared and was hiding in military trucks. Among the soldiers was an experienced hunter who suggested to his colleagues how to behave with the bear.
“Typically bears are afraid to approach people. But this bear is generally not afraid of anything”, – told the press Secretary of the brigade satu Huanen.
Soldiers urgently appealed to the local police for a permit to kill the bear. “We had to take care of the security brigade. It is three thousand people. We have come to believe that the bear poses a security risk,” said Hujanen.
Monday morning one-year-old bear was killed.
