The founder of Space X Elon Musk has held a closed meeting with the U.S. Secretary of defense Ashton Carter. About topics of their conversation is not known.
As noted, neither Musk nor Carter went to the press after the meeting, which took place on 8 June. However, the press Secretary of the Ministry of defence Peter cook stated that Carter “recently, get in touch with some representatives of the technology community to learn about their ideas, to seek feedback and find out what is happening in the world of innovation.”

Musk is the founder of companies SpaceX (manufactures rockets and space ships) and Tesla Motors (electric cars creates), and also initiated the Hyperloop project — the hybrid transport system of vacuum trains and Maglev.
