British startup Smart Antenna Technology has developed a unique antenna for a laptop, which combines a standard, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G/4G LTE and WiGig (60 GHz).
The uniqueness and usefulness of this development is that it will replace five different antennas, which will save the limited space of laptops.
Startup Smart Antenna Technology (SAT) has attracted investors from 3.3 million British pounds. They have developed MIMO antenna, besides saving space, it also increases the download speed and increases the battery life of the device.
According to the developers, the structure of the new antenna, which is the single detail, also reduces size and costs. The design of the antenna allows to avoid interference at the hands of the typing user.
Startup Smart Antenna Technology is negotiating with Sony about how to establish production of the considered antenna systems in the Technology Centre (the Technology Centre) located in Wales near Cardiff.
