Company Citroen has started to test the C3 hatchback new generation. Photospies the first time managed to photograph the car during road tests in Europe. The third generation C3 will build on the modernized platform PF1. The car will receive a new optics and other bumpers. The hatchback will complement a modified grille, a spoiler, in other intakes. Externally, the new Citroen C3 will be solved in the style of the model C4 Cactus. According to preliminary information, the novelty will borrow the special shockproof capsule with air at the sides of the body. In the interior of the vehicle will install the new seats, digital instrument panel and an upgraded infotainment system with 7-inch touchscreen display.
The model will complement the 1.6-litre diesel engine the production of PSA, as well as the 1.0 – and 1.2-litre petrol engines. The units will operate in conjunction with a six-speed manual transmission and six-speed automatic transmission.
