Archaeologists have found that Stonehenge was originally built on another site.
British scientist Mike Parker Pearson said that originally the well-known Stonehenge was built over 225 miles from where he is now. The construction of Stonehenge were transported from Wales to Wiltshire.
Scientists say that while the purpose of this monument, no one knows. Researchers only assume that Stonehenge is a burial monument of archaeology of the third Millennium BC in England.
